چکیده

The connective tissues of the tadpole undergo extensive remodeling during metamorphosis. In the resorbing tail fins of bullfrog tadpoles, there is a rapid degradation of collagen in the basement lamella coupled with dehydration and loss of the gelatinous core of the fin (1,2). The layers of the dense collagenous basement lamella are loosened, frayed, and invaded by mesenchymal cells.1 A collagenolytic enzyme operating at physiological pH and temperature has been detected in cultures of this tissue grown on reconstituted collagen gels (3) and was subsequently isolated from the culture media (4, 5), although not from fresh tissue extracts. Since mucopolysaccharides are always present in collagenous tissues, it seemed reasonable to suspect the presence of enzymes involved in their degradation. Therefore the same culture media from which collagenolytic enzyme was obtained were used for the detection and partial characterization of a hyaluronidase. In addition, hyaluronidase activity was found in extracts of the fresh tissues.

P-130: Designing and Construction of An Appropriate Eukaryotic Expression Vector to Generate Soluble Form of Human Hyaluronidase Type PH20 in Cell Culture Feasible for Application in IVF and ICSI

Background: The hyaluronidases are the enzymes hydrolyze β-1, 4 glycosidic linkage of hyaluronan. Hyaluronan is a polymer consisting of a repeating disaccharide unit found in cumulus ovuforus complex, semen liquid and other tissue. Addition to hydrolyzing the hyaluronan, hyaluronidase can penetrate through the cumulus cells layer that surrounds the oocyte, thus it terms spreading factor. Moreov...

Cloning and expression of the enzymatic region of Streptococcal hyaluronidase

Objective(s): Streptococcus pyogenes produces extracellular hyaluronidase enzyme. This enzyme is directly associated with the spread of the organism during infection. The objective of the present study was to clone and express the nucleotide sequence of the enzyme which is involved in hyaluronidase enzymatic activity. Materials and Methods: The enzymatic region of hyaluronidase gene was detecte...

Isolation, Screening and Characterization of Hyaluronidase Producing Bacteria

Hyaluronidase has a panoramic use in biotechnology processes and therapy due to its therapeutic, pathophysiological, physiological and biological importance. Since much of the preparations of hyaluronidases are from animal source (bovine and ovine testicular sources) with limited sources of microbial origin, that prompted the authors to screen and isolate a new promising bacterial strain ...

Snake venom hyaluronidase: a therapeutic target.

The diffusion of toxins from the site of a bite into the circulation is essential for successful envenomation. Degradation of hyaluronic acid in the extracellular matrix (ECM) by venom hyaluronidase is a key factor in this diffusion. Hyaluronidase not only increases the potency of other toxins but also damages the local tissue. In spite of its important role, little attention has been paid to t...

Hyaluronidase in Clinical Isolates of Propionibacterium acnes

Objectives. We sought to describe the prevalence of a hyaluronidase gene and hyaluronidase production in 197 clinical isolates of P. acnes; we assessed kinetics of hyaluronidase production in a subset of three isolates. Methods. The hyaluronidase gene was detected using polymerase chain reaction. Hyaluronidase production was detected by growing isolates on BHI agar containing 400 μg/mL hyaluron...
